Insurance Case Manager

We are looking for an experienced insurance case manager to join the Insurance Solutions Group operations team. As case manager, you will act as a primary contact for brokers and advisors for all case processing & underwriting inquiries..
Acting as relationship manager to our advisors to manage pending life insurance applications throughout the underwriting process. The responsibility of the case manager is to coordinate and communicate between the advisors and the life insurance carriers.
*Receiving and reviewing new applications for missing information, forms, or other information prior to submission.
*Order and review underwriting requirements such as medical records, inspection reports, and paramedical exams
*Coordinate information between internal departments, advisors, and insurance carriers to provide the best underwriting decisions for the clients
*Reconcile outstanding pending case requirements and request additional requirements from the advisors.
*Manage advisor expectations appropriately and provide exceptional customer service
*Communicate daily with advisors and Insurance companies via phone and email to expedite the underwriting process
*Organizing and prioritizing life insurance applications and various workloads to ensure optimal business placement
*Utilize web-based agency management system to track and document work activity and to communicate effectively with advisors via email
*Maintain current follow up on a daily basis
*Review issued life insurance policies for accuracy
*Receiving, reviewing, and submitting all policy delivery requirements to the insurance carriers and verifying the policy is confirmed inforce.
*Preferred, 1-2 yrs. life insurance experience
*Must have the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
*Strong communication and customer service skills
*Must be professional, ethical, and highly dependable
*Must have excellent organizational & time management skills
*Be able to manage a wide range of responsibilities with consistently changing priorities
*Able to anticipate potential problems and communicate quickly and efficiently to resolve problems
*Must possess strong attention to detail
*Ability to react to change in a positive and productive manner
*Must be willing to work well in a team environment
*Must have a strong work ethic and be independently motivated.
